From English for Evaluation to English for Communication

A detailed discussion of issues facing secondary school English teachers in Korea, especially when attempting to teach English through English.  Includes an in-depth look at ways to overcome these issues and to facilitate the use of English for communication in the classroom.

 

This paper was part of a 2006 English Classroom Innovation and Development Workshop held by the Chungbuk Secondary English Teachers' Association (CBSETA) and hosted by the Chungbuk Education-science Research Institute (CBESR).
