Watch a clip of Canada's national summer sport, Lacrosse.  Ironically, this clip is from a match between the Australian national team and Japan.

 The commentary is in Japanese.  Enjoy.

 


Notice how much room is behind the nets, and how often the play takes place behind the net.  Also, notice the amount of physical contact between players, especially with their sticks.

In this worksheet, students try to match the names of the 10 greatest Canadians with the correct picture.  Also, students must read and complete the provided biographical information.
